Marie Curie’s experience
Marie Curie was a Polish girl and half French. She was born in 7th November 1867. Marie Curie was curious to find out what x-rays mean. A few weeks later, her experiments lead her to her theory. She did not mind being the first lady to get a doctor's degree. The atom is the tiniest most basic building block. In the universe, people believed it would be stable and unbreakable but Marie Curie believed x-rays came from the Uranium atom.
People doubted her because they thought she was wrong. Marie discovered a radioactive material called radium, she had found a new element! To find radium Marie Curie did the work of scientist and a slave for sometime. She was curious this. She would gather wood for an outside fire, then put a giant pot on top. She would treat each ton of rock with a bucket of water, 5 or 6 tons of burning acid, Then she would stir it with a big metal spoon and the mixture itself burnt Marie Curie with lightning then she decided to mix it inside the fumes got tense, but she did not give up.
